Research Associate

A BS or MS degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or Chemistry is required.  5+ years of laboratory experience preferred.

Bend Oregon based Biotechnology Company seeking a highly motivated and reliable research associate to join a growing R&D group. The candidate would be working with a small group of scientists developing substrates and reagents for protein microarrays and reducing these technologies to practice for the company’s manufacturing department.  The job candidate should have a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology with significant experience in protein chemistry.  Experience with immunoassays and a working knowledge of microarray technology are highly desirable.  Strong communication skills are a must as the candidate will be working on multiple projects with various project coordinators.  The job candidate will be expected to work independently and have the flexibility to work on varying projects in a fast-paced environment.  Please submit a resume for review and consideration to mshultz@gracebio.com  No phone calls please.
